Winelands Tour (Stellenbosch, Franschoek, Paarl)

Explore one of the worlds leading wine production regions, with majestic landscapes and vineyards stretching for miles. Your local guide will provide insight into the history of the region, and highlight some of the places of interest.  A wine tasting will be suggested by the guide on one of leading wine farms. This region includes several towns such as Stellenbosch founded by the first governor of the Cape in 1679, Paarl which was settled by Europeans in 1687, as well as Franschoek (French Corner in Dutch) which was settled by French Hugeunots (Protestant reformers), that left France under persecution.  Their French farm names still remain to this day.  An opportunity to lunch in one of these towns will be provided.  Leisurely walk with your guide through the streets of one of these towns, taking an opportunity to enjoy lunch from one of the many world class restaurants available.
